The Z-0235 is an inexpensive 2004 I2C LCD display that is useful for Arduino, Teensy, Seeeduino, Raspberry Pi and other microcontrollers. The four-wire I2C interface requires only two data lines to control it, saving output pins on the controller. The display comes with a piggyback board which provides an I2C interface and a screwdriver adjust for contrast, as well as a jumper for backlight. The backlight intensity can be controlled by a protentiometer at the back. The delivery of the product is fast and comes with bubble wrap and in a box. Some downsides are that the IC2 adapter is crooked which may make it difficult to install it into a case and there are two little depressions in the metal frame which can be an issue if designing multiple LCD displays for a project. However, the display is of good quality, and is long-lasting even in temperatures ranging from low 30's F to 100+ F. The product also comes at an excellent price.
