The keyboard only sends cc codes and no sound, so it is necessary to connect it to the computer to convert the cc codes to sound, which will play through the computer's audio. Some customers had issues with connectivity, operating system compatibility, software installation, and missing items, but most users found this product to be an excellent choice for beginners to develop their keytar skills. They appreciated its wireless option, sliders, lightness, affordability, and compatibility with software like FL Studio 12. However, the editing software needs to be updated, and some preset editing requires the installation of an old version of a DAW, which can be frustrating for users who do not have that operating system. The keytar does not have built-in memory, and one of the neck buttons replaces the sustain pedal.
